From Rommel Alfonso
Farewell my friend. You are in my thoughts, and memories. I pray your kind soul is granted safe passage to the otherside.
You
have been my friend for 20 years! I remember the Summer 2002 Irvington
neighborhood. I just moved back from living 4 years out in the state of
Virginia. You invited me over. I walked to meet you at your parents
house. I can't recall why you were celebrating, but your parents fed me
delicious barbeque and seafood. We were all in the backyard hanging out,
with your family, and with some friends. I didn't have very many
friends, and I thought that you were great for being generous with your
time and inviting me to your family function. You've always gone out of
your way to take care of your friends, welcoming, and always engage in
many meaningful conversations.
I'd always liked how well put
together you were, and cared about how you presented yourself. I've
always thought you were so wicked smart, confident, and adventurous.
You'd always pursue what you were interested in without hesitation, or
doubt. From engineering designs, to golf, and to riding motorcycles.
R.I.P. friend.
I will continue to remember you in the values I've learned from you being my friend.
Love,
Rom
I'm so glad he had a friend like you Rommel!
