Regarding our Letters to Rhett

The brightest lights burn out the fastest and you were a bright light.
You didn't play it safe, and you took risks that many of us only dream of doing.
You lived life to the fullest.  It wasn't in God's plan that you died. His purpose for humans is to live forever.  Since we were given free will, we are subject to consequences and unexpected events.
Death is not the natural course of human life.  God calls death the enemy and he will vanquish that enemy. (1 Corinthians 15:26)  We take comfort in knowing that you are resting peacefully and not suffering, because the dead are unconscious.  It will be just like waking from a deep sleep when God fulfills his word of the resurrection of our dead loved ones.  He created the heavens and the earth, this feat is not too difficult for him...
"Alas, O Sovereign Lord Jehovah! Look! You made the heavens and the earth by your great power
and by your outstretched arm. Nothing is too wonderful for you," (Jeremiah 32:17)
He will bring you back to life and we await the day that he does that.
God longs to bring the dead to life again. (Job 14: 14,15)  Before then, we will write to you knowing that you will have the opportunity to read these letters in the future, In God's new world, his promise to us. (Revelation 21: 3, 4)  In the meantime, these letters bring comfort to us all as we go over each other's words about how much you were loved and cherished.

  4. What an incredibly beautiful memorial and faith strengthening talk this afternoon! I didn’t get the chance to meet Rhett but I am honored for the opportunity to appreciate what a truly remarkable person Rhett was through all of you and thankful to share this special moment with the Mandel family and friends. Thank you so very much. Your strong faith is so inspiring and makes me more deeply appreciate our God Jehovah, the truth and our resurrection hope. You dear Rhett reminds me of my father’s death on the same date 3 years ago and one of the songs for Rhett we also had for my dads memorial will always stick with me and now remind me of Rhett too. May Jehovah continue soothing all of you with his spirit and all the beautiful memories you have of Rhett. I can't wait to meet him in the paradise and see his reaction as he reads all these beautiful letters to him! Love you all, your sister in faith, Mari ❤️❤️❤️🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
