  1. Hi to all Rhett's family and friends. I hired Rhett about 3 months ago in the machine shop i manage in Irvine. Upon interviewing Rhett i knew quickly that he was talented and that we spoke the same machinist language as i'm also a machinist. I knew within 10 minutes i was going to hire him and i did. Rhett had a huge role at Glidewell dental. Rhett was hired at the perfect time, I had just installed a half million dollar+ Mazak CNC Palletech mill system (size of a bus) and needed someone qualified to manage it. I assigned him to this task, he was working on designing the Tooling for the machine and was doing a great job! We met daily to brainstorm on fixture design and programming of the machine, He didn't need much input from me , he knew what he was doing.

While not knowing Rhett very long i was one of the few who spent the most time with Rhett during his last days. I can assure you Rhett was happy . He told me he "felt very lucky to have found this job". I told him he was haha.. I feel relived to hear from his family that he knew God. This means he his without a doubt with Jesus free from all his worries and concerns of the world. He is in the place that is called Heaven. How do we know? While Jesus was on the cross facing death the bible says there was another man on his own cross known as the Thief.
Luke 23: 42 And he was saying, “Jesus, remember me when You come into Your kingdom!” 43 And He said to him, “Truly I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.”
This means Rhett is with the Lord this very moment and forever.
Losing someone puts life into perspective. The only things that truly matter are your relation with Jesus, Your relationship with your Family, and your relationship with your Friends. These are the ONLY things you can take with you into the next life. May the Lord Bless all of you and heal you. Ask him to take the pain from you and he surely will. God is good and has a purpose in everything.

  2. Thank you, Andrew Reed for what you wrote, so glad to hear your reassurance of Rhett being happy. He was ecstatic when he talked with us over the phone that he got hired at Glidewell. We were so proud and happy when he said, it’s a company that helps people, dental implants! He also told us how good a boss, he has when he received the gift card to help him buy and replaced his stolen bicycle.
His Papa and I knew that he would always be a dedicated worker and puts all his best efforts to make everyone happy. That’s our son,Rhett!

  3. As I've mentioned in my FB messenger, it meant alot & we appreciate that you reach out to us. I know it was such short notice when I sent you the invite for Rhett's memorial service yet you were able to join. Thank you also for writing this wonderful letter about Rhett. He was fortunate to have you as his boss even for just a short time.
