Regarding our Letters to Rhett
The brightest lights burn out the fastest and you were a bright light. You didn't play it safe, and you took risks that many of us only dream of doing. You lived life to the fullest. It wasn't in God's plan that you died. His purpose for humans is to live forever. Since we were given free will, we are subject to consequences and unexpected events. Death is not the natural course of human life. God calls death the enemy and he will vanquish that enemy. (1 Corinthians 15:26) We take comfort in knowing that you are resting peacefully and not suffering, because the dead are unconscious. It will be just like waking from a deep sleep when God fulfills his word of the resurrection of our dead loved ones. He created the heavens and the earth, this feat is not too difficult for him...
